Recently, the 7th Ningbo foreign investment enterprise sports meeting and LG Yongxing Cup basketball match ended satisfactorily, which was hosted by Ningbo people’s government and undertaken by Ningbo sports bureau and Ningbo foreign trade and economic cooperation bureau. Zhejiang Guangbo Group finally awarded the second place in this match.
After fierce competiton, the list of top 16 of the 7th Ningbo foreign investment enterprise sports meeting “LG Yongxing Cup” basketball match was known from 45 teams. By obtaining the excellent result of the fourth place in “LG Yongxing Cup” basketball match last year, Guangbo Group participating team entered top 16 directly with the identity of seeded team.
In group contest, on the morning of October 13, Guangbo Group participating team welcomed the first group match, competing with Zhongmeng steel participating team. The level of both teams was almost equally matched, and their scores were very close. Finally Guangbo participating team narrowly won the opponent with the score of 42 to 40.
In the later several days, with high shot rate, quick attack and breakthrough, Guangbo participating team gained competitive advantages and easily beat Ningbo Yunsheng participating team and Samsung heavy industry participating team with the score 47 to 18 and 57 to 39 and promoted to top 8 with the identity of the first place of the group. On the evening of October 14, Guangbo Group participating team competed with Enbo products participating team and won the competition with absolute advantage of 71 to 35 once again. On October 15, Guangbo Group participating team once again competed with Zhongmeng steel participating team, the first place of another group. Although Guangbo Group participating team lost race to Zhongmeng steel participating team whether from the height or from the technique, by strong will and persistent faith, in the last several seconds before the match ended, Guangbo Group participating team fixed the score at 30 to 29 with 2 mark shotting, successfully enter the second place.
On the evening of October 16, when was the final of this basketball match, Zhejiang Guangbo participating team competed with Zhongyin battery participating team, one with crown name of Army women basketball team and the other with crown name of Army men basketball team. These two hassel teams met in the final competition field. The players carried out intensive competiton, trying their best to compete the honor for their own teams. The audience all cheered up. It could be said that the whole match was ended under intensity and excitement.
The fianl result wasn’t so important. Because through this basketball match what we saw and felt most was the struggling spirit of Guangbo Group employees and their strong sense of honor and resonsibility for Guangbo Group. This was more meaningful than the scores and beat everything. Every minute, every second, every movement and every picture of the employees on the competition field, all of these had left deep impression on our heart. We enjoyed the process and appreciated the sweetness. Having such employees, Guangbo felt very proud, heartfully thanking for all the employees for what they had contributed for Guangbo.
